   Operation Christmas Child Collection Time  -  It is time for our Awana clubbers to start collecting items for our Operation Christmas Child boxes once again.  Each week we encourage the kids to bring in an item to put into the box.  These gifts will  be sent all over the world to bless other children at Christmas time.  This is not meant to be a burden to any family, but only as God leads your heart.  We encourage the children to use some money they have earned or saved to   contribute as well. We will be collecting the following items on September 27th ,  and October 4th:  Washcloths, soap, jewelry, play doh, hot wheels and shoes.  We are thanking you in advance for helping to make our children aware of other children's needs.

                                       TEENS

SEE YOU AT THE POLE - THIS Wednesday, September  27th

   Anyone willing to provide a snack for the teens for one of their Wednesday meetings, please sign up for a date on the IMPACT board in the hall next to the church office.

   WANTED for the youth room...We are looking for good used stools, short and tall, as well as tall, narrow "pub style" tables to use in the youth room (several stools, but just a few tall tables.)  If you have anything like this that you are thinking about getting rid of, please speak with Pastor Hatch or Anna.

"In Christ Alone"

              Keith Getty

In Christ alone my hope is found,

He is my light, my strength, my song;

This Cornerstone, this solid ground,

Firm through the fiercest drought and storm.

What heights of love, what depths of peace,

When fears are stilled, when strivings cease!

My comforter, my all in all,

Here in the love of Christ I stand.

In Christ alone! Who took on flesh

Fullness of God in helpless babe!

This gift of love and righteousness

Scorned by the ones He came to save:

Till on that cross as Jesus died,

The wrath of God was satisfied

For every sin on Him was laid;

Here in the death of Christ I live.

There in the ground His body lay

Light of the world by darkness slain;

Then bursting forth in glorious day

Up from the grave He rose again!

And as He stands in victory

Sin's curse has lost its grip on me,

For I am His and He is mine

Bought with the precious blood of Christ.

No guilt in life, no fear in death,

This is the power of Christ in me;

From life's first cry to final breath.

Jesus commands my destiny

No power of hell, no scheme of man,

Can ever pluck me from His hand;

Till He returns or calls me home,

Here in the power of Christ I'll stand.

  "Unto Thee O Lord "

Charles F. Monroe

1. Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul.

Chorus:

O my God, I trust in thee, let me not be ashamed.

Let not mine enemies triumph over me.

2. Show me thy ways, thy ways O Lord.

Teach me thy paths, thy paths O Lord. - (Chorus)

3. Remember not the sins of my youth.

Remember not the sins of my youth. - (Chorus)

"Let the Redeemed "

                          Ward Ellis

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,

Let the redeemed of the Lord say so,

I'm redeemed, I'm redeemed, Praise the Lord. (2 times)
